Oligomeric hyaluronic acid is an oligomer degraded from macromolecular hyaluronic acid by enzymatic or chemical cutting, and is composed of a small number of hyaluronic acid repeating units. Its molecular weight is usually between 1,000 and 10,000 Daltons (Da), which is much smaller than conventional low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, so it has stronger penetration and biological functions.
